CGE generates 3D game environments/levels based on maps created by level designers. The engine also supports complete random generation from roads to city structures. With CGE you can create huge urban environments with thousands of city structures in a matter of hours. CGE is written in C++ has provides an extensive API for integration into level generation tools and games. CGE can be used on PC and Console alike.

Torque Game Engine Integration

A customized version of CGE is also available for the Torque Game Engine. CGE for Torque can generate game levels directly playable inside the game engine. The Torque package comes with a large library of 3D models which makes the authoring process even faster. Using CGE for Torque you can create huge game levels with thousands of city structures in a matter of a few hours if not minutes.

CGE Version 2

The next version of CGE is currently under development with lots of enhancements including a complete authoring studio application and support for exporting to 3dsMax and other formats.
