Sand Stories is a game title developed solely by Urchin Games for a US client. It is a 3D web based game for kids developed in Shockwave. The game theme revolves around creating stories and posting them on a website. The game is based on the sand tray therapy which helps children to explore their story telling abilities.

The game features a sand box environment with a 3D terrain. Children can drag drop 3D models onto the sand and add conversation bubbles to create different stories. The stories scenes can be captured as screen shots and posted to a website. Users can also create small movies by joining multiple game scenes.
